About the tool

What is NDIS Support Planner?

NDIS Support Planner is a web-based planning tool that helps NDIS participants, families, and support coordinators understand how far their NDIS funding will go before they spend it.

You enter your Core Support and Capacity Building budgets, choose the types of support you plan to use, and set how often you'll use them. The tool calculates your projected annual spend and shows you how much of your budget you'll have remaining.

Is this an official NDIS tool?

No. NDIS Support Planner is an independent tool built by a third party. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) or the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

All pricing data is sourced from the publicly available NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits document, which is updated periodically by the NDIA.

What NDIS budget categories does the tool support?

The tool currently supports projections across three NDIS budget categories:

  • Core Supports — including daily activities, community participation, consumables, and transport.
  • Capacity Building Supports — including support coordination, improved daily living, social participation, and more.
  • Support Coordination — shown as a separate budget category in your plan letter.
How accurate are the projections?

Projections are calculated based on NDIS price limits. Actual costs will depend on your providers, your location, and whether your plan is agency-managed, plan-managed, or self-managed.

This tool is designed to give you a realistic estimate — not a guaranteed figure. Always confirm rates with your provider or support coordinator before making spending decisions.

Does the tool connect to my NDIS portal or myplace?

No. NDIS Support Planner does not connect to any NDIS systems. You enter your own budget figures manually from your plan letter or plan summary. Your data stays in this app only.

Pricing & Billing

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free plan lets you run unlimited projections and view the results. You don't need to create an account to use the free plan.

To save your projections, export to PDF, or store your NDIS profile and contacts, you'll need to upgrade to a paid plan.

How much does it cost?

There are two paid plans:

  • Individual — $4.99 AUD (once): For NDIS participants managing their own plan. Save projections, export to PDF, store your profile and NDIS contacts.
  • Coordinator / Carer — $12.99 AUD (once): For support coordinators and family carers. All Individual features, plus multiple participant profiles and custom line items.

Both are one-off payments. There is no ongoing subscription.

Is this a subscription? Will I be charged again?

No. Both paid plans are one-off payments. You pay once and have access to your plan's features forever — there are no renewals, no monthly fees, and nothing to cancel.

How are payments processed?

Payments are handled securely by Stripe. We never store your card details on our servers. Stripe is a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor used by millions of businesses worldwide.

Can I get a refund?

If you've paid and feel the tool doesn't work as described, please contact us via the contact page and we'll assess refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Given the low price point and digital nature of the product, we're not able to offer automatic refunds, but we're happy to help if there's a genuine issue.

Data & Privacy

What data do you store?

If you create an account, we store your name, email address, and any profile details you choose to add (such as your NDIS number, state, plan dates, and support contacts). We also store the plan projections you save.

We do not store payment card details. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe.

Is my data shared with the NDIA or any provider?

No. Your data is not shared with the NDIA, any NDIS provider, or any third party. It is stored securely and used only to deliver the app's features to you.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes. If you'd like your account and data removed, contact us via the contact page and we'll process your deletion request promptly.
